Video / real work

Software + Video

NexStep is a software development and video production studio for startups, founders and growing businesses: websites, apps and platforms, plus the ads and films that bring people to them.

Two crafts, one team

Pick your path. Or take both.

Software and video share one brief, one voice and one standard of quality. Here is who each is for, what we make, what you receive, and when it is a good fit.

01 / Precise

Software

Websites, products and platforms built to be clear, fast and ready to grow.

Who it is for

  • Founders turning an idea into a first real product
  • Businesses ready to move off spreadsheets and manual work
  • Teams that need a trading, fintech or real-time platform built carefully

What you receive

  • Scope and user flows
  • Interface design
  • Built and tested software
  • Connections to the tools you use
  • Launch and handover

A good fit when

  • You have a clear problem and want it built properly
  • You need something that works on a phone as well as a desktop
  • You want to start small and grow it in stages

02 / Cinematic

Video

Ads, sales videos and edits with rhythm, built to be watched and acted on.

Who it is for

  • Brands running paid social that need fresh creative, often
  • Founders who need a VSL or product film that explains the offer
  • Creators and companies with footage but no time to edit it

What you receive

  • Concept and script
  • Edit with captions and sound
  • Versions for each platform
  • Variations for testing
  • Exports in the formats you need

A good fit when

  • You need creative for paid social, a launch or a sales page
  • You want the first three seconds and the offer both taken seriously
  • You have an idea but not the footage, or footage but no edit

Edgebook, a journal for every market you trade.

A multi-asset trading journal and backtesting workbench. Log each setup as structured data across gold, forex, crypto, indices and stocks, then review which setups, sessions and habits show up in the results.

Why NexStep

The product and the story shouldn't be strangers.

NexStep Technologies is a founder-led studio that builds software and makes video, for people at a turning point: a launch, a rebuild, a first big campaign. We call that the next stage.

Who we work with

  • Startups and founders
  • Businesses ready to modernise
  • Clients in other countries
  1. 01

Usually, two companies who never speak.

The site or app comes from one company and the film about it from another, and the message can drift between them.

  2. 02

    Here, one brief.

NexStep keeps both in one conversation. Software and video share a brief, a voice and a standard of quality, so the page and the film say the same thing.

    SoftwareVideoOne brief

  3. 03

    Only when it helps.

Many projects need one practice, not both. If that is yours, we will say so.

When you need both

A launch is a product and the story around it.

Step through one launch to see the two kinds of work run side by side, and where they meet.

Illustrative scenario, not a past project

The product / Software

Agree what the site or app is for, who it serves and the one action it should drive.

The story / Video

Agree the message, the audience and where the video will run.

Where they meetOne brief, so the product and the ads start from the same goal.

An illustrative scenario: a product launch. It is not a past client project and it makes no claim about results. Many projects need only one side.

Working with NexStep

What working with us looks like.

Here is what to expect, whichever practice you need. It describes how we work. It promises no fixed timeline, price or number of revisions: those are agreed in writing for each project.

Step through each practice.

Software and video both move in five stages, but they are not the same stages. Pick one and see what happens, what we need from you and what you receive.

You see working software early and often, in stages you can click through.

Stage 01 of 05 / Software

Brief and fit

We listen, then say honestly whether we are the right fit.

A frank view of fit

What happens

  • We ask about your goal, your users and your constraints
  • You tell us what already exists: a site, a spreadsheet, a rough idea
  • We say what we would and would not build first

We need from you

Your goal, examples you like, any deadline that matters

You receive

A clear next step

This describes how we work. It promises no fixed timeline, price or number of revisions: those are agreed in writing for each project.

Proof

What you can check for yourself.

Plenty of agencies tell you how good they are. This is what is actually on this site, and where we are still building the evidence.

  1. 3 live

    software projects you can open

ASAL, a working online store; Edgebook, a trading journal with a public demo; and AI Agency OS, an agency workspace with a read-only demo. Each one says how it was made and what you can open. More software work appears here as it is cleared for publication.

    See the software work
  2. 48

    real videos you can watch

Across 4 formats: UGC ads, Dropshipping ads, AI cartoon ads, VSLs. Every one plays on the Video page, from 0:14 ads to 6:18 sales videos. None of it is staged or mocked up.

    Watch them
  3. Founder-led

a studio you can ask directly

NexStep is led by its founder. Ask in your enquiry who would work on your project and we will tell you plainly.

    About NexStep
  4. Labelled

    everything says what it is

We label everything we show. A work sample is real finished work whose client we do not name. Client work appears only with the client's permission. Founder-built products, work in progress and self-initiated concepts are marked as such, and a result is stated only when it can be verified.

The people

Talk to the person making the decisions.

NexStep is led by its founder. You can ask who would work on your project at any point, including in your first message, and you will get a straight answer.

  • 01

    Straight answers

We say plainly whether we are the right fit, and what we would and would not build first.

  • 02

    Everything in writing

What is included, what is not, and what we need from you is written down before work starts.

  • 03

You see the work as it takes shape

Software you can click through, or a script, a storyboard and a rough cut for video, at every stage and not only at the end.

  • 04

    Support is agreed up front

What help you get after launch is settled in the plan, not left to chance.

Founder-led

One conversation, from the first message.

The person you write to is the person deciding how your project is approached. We would rather you meet us in a conversation about your project than read a biography written for a website.

Ask in your first message who would work on your project and we will tell you plainly.

Questions

Straight answers.

The things people ask before they write. If yours is not here, ask it in your enquiry.

What kinds of projects do you take on?

Software and video. On the software side: business websites, e-commerce, SaaS and web applications, admin systems, mobile apps, integrations, and trading, fintech and real-time platforms. On the video side: UGC-style ads, AI cartoon ads, social ads, VSLs, product and corporate videos, YouTube content and editing. If your idea sits near these, ask.

Can I hire you for software and video together?

Yes. Many launches need both: something people can use and something that explains why they should. One conversation covers both, and the two pieces are planned to match.

How do I get started?

Send an enquiry from the Contact page. It takes a few short steps: what you need, a little about the project, and how to reach you. We reply with questions and a suggested next step.

How much will it cost?

It depends on the scope, so this site does not list fixed prices. Once we understand what you need, we put a plan and an estimate in writing. Sharing a budget is optional, and it helps us suggest the right scope.

How long will it take?

That depends on what is being made and how quickly we can get feedback and material from you. We give a timeline in the written plan. If you have a deadline, tell us in your enquiry.

How do revisions work?

We show work at each stage so changes happen early, when they are easiest. How many rounds of changes are included is agreed in the plan before work starts.

Ready for your next stage?

Tell us what you are building or making. We will reply with honest questions and a clear next step.
